A perfect scene, a wonder to behold, the air warm and
tender, caressing the body with ease. It’s right there in the air. Can you get
enough of it? Its full, rich, grace, mercy, whispering into our heart its
essence. It made the earth, it forms life, it gives life and its greatest
height is that it’s self-sacrificing.
Nevertheless it’s sometimes misused, a lot of times
misunderstood. We all need it, can’t do without it, yet hard to get and hard to
give. Why?
Because we don’t understand it, we don’t know its root, we
can’t comprehend it and we really don’t have a heart for it. We are hardened of
heart, selfish within, blocked in mind and not really living. We need a change of
heart for it to work in us, to work through us to make us who we are meant to
be.
Its beauty reflects and resonates long after death. Its
essence stands out without bend. It’s in a world of its own and nothing
compares to it. Its force is raging as the roaring sea. It’s powerful yet very
patient. It sees itself low and sees others high, looks out for the best in
others and its longsuffering. It covers a multitude of sin because it sees beyond
the offender.
It’s powerful beyond measure, hard to comprehend its status,
between a man and a woman it gets gorgeous. In so many situations, it’s expressed
without words. In a community, it brings warmth, safety, freedom, liberty
to be who you are meant to be. Makes one very creative, makes problems solved
with ease, makes us see within than which transcends to profit without.
In an organisation, it becomes the norm, it invigorates
staffs to work productively, it tarnishes jealousy or envy between staffs and
it makes no one weak, because it sees itself as one. It works hard bringing out
the best in everyone in a team.
In a society its awesome, it makes the atmosphere restful,
without tension, the air is free, easy to breathe in and deep all men living at
peace with one another, issues handled with ease never creating crisis.
Isn’t this an illusion, fantasy you might say, can we have a
world like this where everything is peaceful and at ease with everyone? Maybe not….for
now….but it’s a possibility if we believe and live up to it by doing all we can
to be at peace with all men and embrace “it” with all of our hearts.
It’s LOVE; undiluted, genuine, free, beautiful,awesome,simple…… it’s Love. And
when we have a daily dose of it, we daily become it and begin to live it and
our world gets in on it.
There’s nothing meaningful we can do without Love; Love to
others, Love in the society, Love in our community and Love in our organsiation. It’s the
only value where all other values stand. It surpasses religion, race, gender or status. It can’t be
boxed. So, to really live on earth, you have to make Love your daily and conscious living.
Love freely; you can’t be billed for it.
