Hi There,
Its been a while, we could say, and its great to know we are still staying strong and trusting God to bring to pass our heart's desires. I have had an unusual experience in the last two weeks that has been phenomenal and has changed me and I would like to share it with us.
The fact that on a daily basis we go out and come in to rest, pursuing our dreams and plans, running towards a set goal and doing all we can to find fulfilment is very critical and crucial in our living in this world.Everyone of us have something we are pursuing right now and we want accomplished. When we finally get it, another one will prop up and we focus on it as well.
However, there is a very big tendency we forget the most important people in our lives, the people who are there and will be there even when all we are pursuing don't get accomplished, people who know us in and out and love us for who we are, people we don't have to pretend to and prove something to, people who watch our back for us and this is our FAMILY.
Our Mums, Dads, Brothers and Sisters and sometimes for some of us close friends. They are our fans, heroes who will be there for us when all is lost. Isn't that true?
The question for us is are we taking time out to tell them how much we love them and appreciate them. When was the last time you told your brother or mum or sister " I love You". whether or not they have really been there for you, they are still your family.
Telling them how much you love them goes a very long way to affect them and help them and you as well.
I know we live in an environment where a lot of hustling and bustling seems to take so much place in our lives, but we need to rearrange the priorities of our lives and put our families first, express our appreciation and love to them and reunite the Spirit of Love that is strong enough to fight off any strife in our homes.
The regular excuse for some people is the fact that the money they are working for is for the family to eat and feed on, but the real truth is as much as it is important for the family to be fed and be comfortable, the intangible resources been deposited through, words of encouragement, affection, smiles, love and other gestures will help and sustain the family in dire times and situations.
Take a time out today, give your family a phone call, send a text, visit them, pray for them if they are far away, write a letter, send an email,do something to communicate with them, tell them how much you love them, and let the Spirit of Love permeate your homes and keep the love alive.
Do have a Blessed week filled with Love, Joy and Gladness.
Ciao.
