Eyes sees, Ears hear, our Heart receives it all, processing the data drawn from the store without walls. As the heart receives it, each data received goes through some processing from the gull of the human operating system filled with experiences from the past,upbringing, cultural background,education, emotional stability and the likes.
To give the processed information expression, the mouth expresses it through words. Words are so important they make or mar,they are life giving or life taking, snares or saves, traps or delivers created with full thought and must be carefully thought through before being expressed. As powerful and effective as words are, it is trivialised in most case until its consequences are evident and then we realise its base. The base is the HEART, the factory of creation from whence these words come from, the place where all data caught goes through a process of reconstruction.
Since the heart is the key, guarding it is our main responsibility. From it, all is produced determining one's life course. it can assume different patterns depending on what it is fed with through the eyes and ears. It can be grieved, hardened, deceived. It can also be stirred,changed and can adhere to instructions.
What are you feeding your heart my friend through the books you read, movies you watch, music you listen to,opinions you take in from people? What does your heart feed on? Good things or Bad things?
It is easy to find out, try listen to your words spoken to others in different situations and you can tell if you have fed your heart with the right things or with the wrong things.
What you think from and what you have heard and seen is what you will say. It is a standard principle of life, it can't be changed but you can choose to do it the right way and let your life draw towards the right path.
My challenge to all of us today is, feed your heart with the good things, what you say is what you become and what you say is what you have fed into your heart. Go through the process of feeding your heart with the right things, your mouth will speak right things and your life will turn out well.
I believe God's Grace is sufficient to help us choose the right things to see and listen to and Grace to speak the right words in living right.
