BREAKING OUT OF THE BOX; RESHAPE

A shape does not change. That is why it is called Shape. Molded to be in one position or in a way forever. It can have many angles and sides but it cannot go beyond what it is. For example; a triangle cannot be a square no matter how big it might try to expand into. It is forever shaped to be a triangle.
Now picture this, environments or communities have their unique shape, and can be termed as Culture. It’s a mindset, a way of thinking, a view that makes the community what it is. This is applicable in every sector. There are organizational cultures, family traditions, school mottos, a country’s national anthem, generational trends, myths and legends, belief system and many more. It can be good, yet it can be limiting or disastrous in some cases and in some it has become strongholds that have ruined the people in it. In human beings, this culture can be termed as habits. Some good, some bad. When the bad ones become strongholds they hold on to its hosts tightly like a parasite or like a lion holding tightly to its prey. A shaking off can’t be easy, but isn’t impossible.
Beautiful as some of such cultures can be, we need to understand that life evolves. There is no generation that should remain the same, there needs to be changes, growth, progress, enlargement. If a generation refuses to evolve, it would be unable to achieve its great, unusual and spectacular stature it is meant to reach.

So, let us say the triangle tries to change to a pentagon having 5 sides; adding two more sides to it. That process is called the Breaking Out. It requires a change in view, perspective, disposition and it has to be done in a creative way. If this is done successfully, a new culture has been created. In life we all have to breakout from cultures within us and around us if we want to do what eyes have not seen or ears heard or mind conceive. We need to decide to reshape, reposition and realign and it must be done continuously. We need to consciously look within, eliminate thoughts that must be limiting us, that have stood as giant walls and see a tunnel that leads to light instead.
We must see past victories and shake them off to see greater victories ahead. We must challenge the way of thinking in our environment that deprives people from being all they should be and pull out such cultures/strongholds wherever it is rooted and replant the right thinking that brings good to all.
We must see differently, think differently and be different so that there will be differences in our generation that the new generation will use what we have achieved as a platform to rise higher in life. If we allow ourselves boxed, triangled, squared, pentagoned or shaped in a specific way, we will never know how else or better we could have been.
See it differently today! You are created for greatness more than you can ever think or say.
